SAP Developer (Senior Level)

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Perform complex ABAP programming, testing, and debugging related to SAP module implementation.
• Develop interfaces, reports, forms, conversion programs, and enhancements based on functional and technical specifications.
• Understand requirements from functional designs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Create technical designs and incorporate them into functional specifications.
• Maintain close communication with functional teams and designers, and build professional relationships with clients.
• Perform unit testing to ensure program functionality and reliability.
• Provide timely updates on development progress and system changes.
• Conduct program logic and code reviews to ensure compliance with SAP standards and architecture.
• Support synchronized interface functionality across all SAP modules.
• Analyze and resolve user-requested issues and assess operational feasibility.
• Recommend system improvements and ensure performance and scalability.
• Train users on SAP functionalities and provide technical guidance to team members.
• Conduct diagnostic tests and troubleshoot issues to optimize performance.
• Be available for urgent user support during weekends or holidays (occasionally).
• Travel as needed for training and on-site support.
• Carry out additional duties or ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related IT field.
• Experience: 5-8 years of experience in SAP ABAP design and development.
• Understanding of SAP ABAP development concepts, best practices, guidelines, and SAP architecture.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
