Job Summary

We are looking for experienced SAP Document Management System (SAP DMS) Consultants to join our team on a long-term contract engagement. The selected candidates will be responsible for implementing, configuring, supporting, and enhancing SAP DMS solutions based on business requirements.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with SAP DMS, document management processes, SAP integration, configuration, and production support. Candidates should be comfortable working independently in a remote environment and collaborating with business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and support SAP Document Management System (DMS) solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into appropriate SAP DMS solutions.
• Configure document types, document status, document number ranges, and document management processes.
• Work with Document Info Records (DIRs), document versions, originals, classifications, and document structures.
• Manage document creation, storage, retrieval, version control, and lifecycle processes.
• Integrate SAP DMS with relevant SAP modules and business processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP DMS functional and technical issues.
• Provide production support and participate in incident and problem management.
• Coordinate with business users, functional consultants, technical teams, and stakeholders.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test cases, and other project documentation.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, and deployment activities.
• Support enhancements, change requests, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide knowledge transfer and technical/functional guidance to team members.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP DMS.
• Good understanding of Document Info Records (DIR) and document lifecycle management.
• Experience with SAP DMS configuration and customization.
• Knowledge of document types, document status, version management, originals, and classification.
• Experience integrating SAP DMS with other SAP modules.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of SAP business processes.
• Experience in implementation, enhancement, migration, and/or production support projects.
• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

For SAP DMS Lead

• 10+ years of SAP experience, with strong SAP DMS expertise.
• Ability to lead SAP DMS activities and provide solution guidance.
• Experience interacting with business stakeholders and project teams.
• Ability to review requirements, design solutions, and guide team members.
• Strong problem-solving and ownership skills.

For SAP DMS Team Member

• 8+ years of SAP experience, with relevant SAP DMS expertise.
• Strong hands-on configuration and support experience.
• Ability to independently handle assigned DMS activities.
• Good coordination skills with functional and technical teams.
