SAP DRC Technical Consultant

Role:

We are looking for an experienced SAP DRC Technical Consultant with strong hands-on experience in SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC). The ideal candidate should have 23 years of relevant SAP DRC experience along with 5+ years of overall SAP experience.

Key Responsibilities

Work on the technical implementation, development, and support of SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC).

Develop and maintain DRC-related technical solutions based on business and statutory requirements.

Configure and support electronic invoicing and statutory reporting processes.

Work on integration between SAP and external government/tax platforms.

Handle technical troubleshooting and resolve issues related to DRC processes and integrations.

Work with SAP interfaces, APIs, web services, and integration frameworks as required.

Support data mapping, transformation, validation, and transmission for statutory reports/e-invoices.

Analyze technical issues and provide appropriate solutions within agreed timelines.

Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and production validation.

Work closely with functional consultants and business teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.

Support deployment, transport management, and post-production issues.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation for developments, integrations, and configurations.

Participate in upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvements related to SAP DRC.

Required Skills

5+ years of overall SAP experience.

2+ years of hands-on SAP DRC experience.

Strong understanding of SAP Document and Reporting Compliance.

Experience with e-Invoicing and statutory/electronic reporting processes.

Strong technical understanding of SAP integrations.

Experience working with APIs, web services, interfaces, and data exchange.

Good understanding of SAP technical architecture and integration concepts.

Experience in troubleshooting DRC-related technical issues.

Ability to work with functional teams and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Good understanding of SAP development and debugging concepts.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

Experience with SAP S/4HANA.

Experience with SAP BTP / Integration Suite.

Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and JSON/XML.

Experience with SAP Cloud Integration/CPI.

Exposure to country-specific e-invoicing and tax reporting requirements.

Experience with SAP DRC implementation, rollout, upgrade, or support projects.
