SAP FI CO Support

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated SAP Finance (FI/CO) Support Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for an early-career SAP professional with experience in SAP Finance, ERP support, shared services, or finance operations.

You will provide functional support to users, troubleshoot SAP Finance-related issues, manage support tickets, and assist with maintaining SAP Finance solutions. You'll also work closely with technical and functional teams to resolve issues and ensure an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Finance Application Support

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for SAP Finance (FI/CO) processes and transactions.
• Investigate and resolve incidents, service requests, and user-reported issues.
• Analyze system errors and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.
• Escalate complex issues to senior functional consultants when necessary.
• Ensure timely resolution of tickets in accordance with established SLAs.
• Provide support through channels such as chat, phone, and internal support platforms.

Financial Processes Support

Support key SAP Finance processes, including:

• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting (AA)
• Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
• Internal Orders
• Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
• Assist users with transaction processing and issue resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring finance-related issues.

Master Data & Configuration Support

• Support finance master data maintenance activities.
• Assist with basic configuration changes under appropriate supervision.
• Validate system changes and participate in testing activities.
• Ensure compliance with established finance and governance processes.

Reporting & Reconciliation

• Support standard SAP financial reports and month-end activities.
• Assist with data validation and financial reconciliations.
• Investigate financial data discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
• Support audit, compliance, and financial control activities.

Documentation & Continuous Improvement

• Maintain support documentation, knowledge articles, and process guides.
• Participate in problem management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve support processes and operational efficiency.
• Assist with user training and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience 1–2+ years of experience in SAP Finance support, ERP support, shared services, or finance operations.

Exposure to SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA Finance is preferred.

Experience in a customer-facing support environment is an advantage.

Technical Skills

Basic to intermediate knowledge of SAP FI/CO.

Understanding of financial accounting and controlling processes.

Knowledge of GL, AP, and AR.

Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Finance is a plus.

Understanding of month-end and year-end closing activities.

Experience with incident and ticket management tools.
