SAP FI Consultant

Role Description This full-time SAP FI Consultant role is a hybrid position based in Budapest, with a mix of on-site work and the option to work from home. The consultant will configure and support SAP FI , including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank and asset accounting. Daily tasks include gathering and analyzing business requirements, designing solutions, preparing functional specifications, and collaborating with technical teams on implementations and enhancements. The role involves testing and documenting changes, supporting end users, troubleshooting finance-related system issues, and contributing to continuous process improvements. The consultant will participate in international projects, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and may support rollouts and upgrades across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Strong Finance and Accounting knowledge, with understanding of core financial processes and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with SAP FI, including configuration, support, and integration with related modules.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret business requirements, analyze data, and translate needs into system solutions.
• Consulting skills, including stakeholder communication, requirements gathering, and solution presentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience in SAP implementation or roll-out projects, including testing, documentation, and user training.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, manage time independently, and collaborate in international teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English & Hungarian is a must
