SAP FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANTS

About the role

We are seeking experienced SAP Functional Consultants to support implementation, rollout, enhancement, migration and application-support engagements across Indonesia and the region. Candidates should have hands-on configuration experience and strong end-to-end business-process knowledge in at least one SAP functional module. You will work closely with business users, project teams and technical consultants to understand requirements, design practical solutions, configure assigned modules and support successful delivery from discovery through post-go-live support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or support requirements gathering, process workshops, fit-gap analysis and solution-design activities.
• Translate business requirements into practical SAP functional designs, configurations and process improvements.
• Configure and support the assigned SAP module in line with approved requirements, architecture and project scope.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, test scenarios, user guides and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Collaborate with technical consultants and developers on reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms and workflows.
• Support master-data validation, data migration, interface testing and cross-module integration.
• Plan and execute unit testing, SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live and hypercare activities.
• Investigate incidents and defects, perform root-cause analysis and provide timely, sustainable resolutions.
• Facilitate user training and support business adoption of the implemented solution.
• Communicate progress, risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies clearly to project stakeholders.

About you

• Minimum five years of relevant SAP consulting experience across implementation, rollout, enhancement, migration or application support.
• Hands-on configuration experience in at least one functional area: FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, PM, QM, WM/EWM, TM, HCM or SuccessFactors.
• Participation in at least one full-cycle SAP implementation, or substantial experience in a structured SAP application-support environment.
• Strong understanding of business-process mapping, requirements analysis, solution design, testing, deployment and support.
• Good knowledge of SAP integration concepts, data flows, interfaces and cross-module dependencies.
• Ability to prepare clear functional documentation and communicate effectively with business and technical audiences.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, stakeholder-management and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field.
• Professional proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia for local and regional stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work remotely and attend client-site or on-site activities when required by the assignment.
