Role: SAP Group Reporting Consultant

Duration: 10 Months

Location: Penang, Malaysia

Rate: Best Competitive Hourly Rate

Language: English required; Malay highly preferred

Position Overview

SAP America is seeking experienced SAP Group Reporting professionals to support a 10-month engagement in Penang, Malaysia .

The client is open to either one highly skilled consultant capable of covering all required areas or multiple specialized resources with expertise across the following disciplines:

• Consolidation Developer
• Reporting Developer
• SAP Cloud Consultant
• GRDC Developer - Group Reporting Data Collection

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and support SAP Group Reporting solutions.
• Support financial consolidation, reporting, and related business processes.
• Develop and enhance consolidation and reporting functionality.
• Design and implement GRDC solutions for data collection and integration.
• Support SAP cloud-based Group Reporting environments and integrations.
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing technical and functional support.
• Ensure solutions follow SAP best practices and align with the customer's business requirements.
• Participate in testing, validation, documentation, and knowledge transfer activities.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Group Reporting.

• Expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• SAP Group Reporting / Consolidation

• Reporting Development

• SAP Cloud solutions

• GRDC (Group Reporting Data Collection)

• Strong understanding of financial consolidation and reporting processes.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP cloud technologies.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• English language proficiency is required.

• Malay language proficiency is highly preferred.

Location & Resource Preference

• Malaysia-based/local resources in Penang are strongly preferred.
• Offshore resources may also be considered if they are willing and able to travel to Malaysia and work onsite as needed.
• Candidates should be flexible to support onsite requirements based on project needs.
