SAP Hybris Commerce Cloud

Position Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP Hybris Commerce Cloud professional with 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-level e-commerce solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, platform customization, system integrations, and cloud-based deployments. Experience leading technical teams and delivering scalable B2B/B2C commerce solutions is essential.

Future Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable e-commerce solutions using SAP Hybris Commerce Cloud.
• Lead end-to-end technical architecture, development, customization, and deployment activities.
• Develop and customize SAP Commerce Cloud extensions, facades, services, controllers, and data models.
• Work extensively with Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, FlexibleSearch, ImpEx, and SQL.
• Implement and enhance commerce functionalities, including product catalog management, pricing, promotions, cart, checkout, and order management.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs using OCC (Omni Commerce Connect) and integrate SAP Commerce Cloud with external systems.
• Work on B2B/B2C commerce implementations, storefront customization, and multi-site or multi-region commerce solutions.
• Manage integrations with SAP ERP/S/4HANA and other enterprise applications.
• Work with SAP Commerce Cloud environments, including build, configuration, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Participate in platform upgrades, migrations, performance tuning, and production issue resolution.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure application security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers and coordinate development activities across teams.
• Contribute to technical design documents, estimation, risk assessment, and delivery planning.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on experience in SAP Hybris / SAP Commerce Cloud.
• Extensive experience in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, and object-oriented programming.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Commerce Cloud architecture, extensions, customizations, and development lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with FlexibleSearch, ImpEx, Backoffice, and commerce data modelling.
• Experience with OCC APIs, RESTful web services, and third-party system integrations.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce business processes, including product management, pricing, promotions, cart, checkout, and order management.
• Experience with B2B and/or B2C commerce implementations.
• Knowledge of SAP Commerce Cloud deployments, CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Experience working with version control systems such as Git and build tools such as Maven.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-management, and technical leadership skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud CCv2 and version 2211.
• Experience with SAP Composable Storefront (Spartacus), Angular, or other modern front-end technologies.
• Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, SAP ERP, or SAP S/4HANA integrations.
• Experience with cloud platforms, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Experience in platform upgrades, cloud migration, and large-scale enterprise commerce projects.
