SAP Integration architect

SAP Integration Architect owning end-to-end Source-to-Pay across SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, Concur and VIM for a large telecoms enterprise. You lead the solution design and do the hands-on configuration.

Contract: 6 months

Location: London, Greater London, UK

Working pattern: Onsite, with some potential flexibility

Travel: Occasional travel for workshops

The Project

The programme covers the full S2P lifecycle: sourcing, contracts, procurement, invoice processing, payments and reporting. You will keep it scalable, secure and compliant across transformation and business-as-usual, working closely with Procurement, Finance, AP and Tax.

Key Responsibilities

• Own S2P solution architecture across SAP S/4HANA, SAP MM, Ariba, Concur and VIM

• Configure solutions hands-on alongside the solution design

• Define patterns for procurement, invoice automation and expense management

• Design and govern integrations between S/4HANA (MM, FI), Ariba, Concur and VIM

• Define master data, transactional and financial posting flows

• Deliver auditable 3-way matching, invoice posting and expense accounting

• Design approval workflows, tolerances, controls and exception handling

• Meet financial control, SOX and GDPR requirements where applicable

• Act as design authority for designs, functional specs and integration documents

• Work with System Integrators, vendors and internal delivery teams

• Oversee build, test, cutover and post-go-live

Technical Skills

Essential

• 7 to 10 years in SAP S2P, Procurement or Finance solutions

• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA and SAP MM

• Hands-on SAP Ariba (Buying and Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts)

• Hands-on SAP Concur (Travel and Expense)

• VIM (OpenText or SAP VIM)

• Complex integrations across SAP and SaaS platforms

• Financial postings, invoice processing and controls

• Source-to-Pay business processes

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication

Desirable

• SAP Central Finance impacts on S2P processes

• SAP BTP integration patterns

• Large enterprise or telecoms environments

• Agile or SAFe delivery

• SAP certifications in MM, S/4HANA, Ariba or Solution Architecture
