Job title: SAP Manager

Location: Prague | Hybrid

Sentinel are working with a major Prague-based client in the FMCG industry seeking an experienced SAP Technology & Development Manager.

You will lead a team of SAP specialists while remaining technically involved across SAP development, integration and platform initiatives. You will work closely with senior business stakeholders and external partners to translate business requirements into scalable, supportable technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of SAP technology specialists, including task and capacity management, mentoring and knowledge sharing.
• Take ownership of SAP application development, enhancements, support and project delivery.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and shape the technology roadmap.
• Oversee external technology partners and delivery quality.
• Provide technical leadership across SAP development, integration and platform initiatives.
• Support the evolution of the SAP landscape following Clean Core principles.
• Contribute to innovation and emerging SAP technologies, including SAP Business AI.

Requirements

• Strong experience across SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite, SAP Build Process Automation and SAP BTP Work Zone.
• Experience integrating S/4HANA with third-party systems.
• Understanding of SAP development technologies including ABAP, Fiori and BTP.
• Experience applying DevOps principles and governance within SAP environments.
• Strong understanding of Clean Core.
• Previous involvement in S/4HANA transformation/migration projects.
• Previous delivery and customization experience.
• Awareness of SAP Basis and security considerations.
• Exposure to SAP Business AI / Joule would be advantageous.

What We're Looking For

This is particularly suited to someone who has genuine previous leadership experience but also has both delivery and customization experience, who wants to be more hands-on with the technology.

The key priority is strong SAP BTP expertise combined with proven people leadership and the ability to operate hands-on in a complex SAP environment.
