Turner Lovell is working with a leading UK engineering and infrastructure services provider that is looking to expand its team of Senior Authorised Persons (SAPs).

Our client delivers critical electrical infrastructure projects across the UK's distribution networks, working with major Distribution Network Operators (DNOs). Due to continued growth and ongoing project requirements, they are looking to engage experienced SAPs across LV, HV and EHV networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out switching operations, isolations and earthing activities in accordance with relevant safety rules and procedures.
  • Ensure electrical works are undertaken safely and in compliance with DNO operational standards.
  • Prepare, issue and cancel relevant safety documentation, including permits to work and sanctions for test, within the scope of authorisation.
  • Coordinate with project teams, site personnel and network operators to support safe project delivery.
  • Support the installation, maintenance, testing and commissioning of electrical infrastructure.
  • Identify and manage electrical safety risks associated with operational activities.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety and technical compliance across all activities.

Experience & Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Senior Authorised Person within any electricity distribution networks.
