SAP Manager (SAP B1)

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP Implementation and Integration:

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP B1 for various business functions including finance and supply chain.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to gather business requirements, design solutions, and implement SAP B1 configurations.

• SAP Support and Optimization:

  • Oversee day-to-day SAP B1 system operations, including system monitoring, issue resolution, and user support.
  • Manage the SAP B1 help desk, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolution to system errors or malfunctions.

• Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead and manage the SAP team, including functional consultants, developers, system administrators, and business analysts.
  • Provide mentorship and training to team members, fostering professional development and enhancing technical skills.

• SAP Governance and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, data security policies, and industry standards
  • Implement SAP B1 governance frameworks and ensure best practices are followed for configuration, security, and data management.

• Budget and Resource Management:

  • Manage the SAP department's budget, including costs related to licenses, hardware, training, and consultants.
  • Work with senior management to define resource requirements and secure necessary resources for SAP projects.

• SAP Strategic Planning:

  • Work closely with business leaders to understand long-term goals and ensure SAP solutions align with business strategies. Evaluate emerging SAP technologies (such as SAP B1, S/4HANA, SAP Cloud, etc.) and make recommendations for system upgrades or migrations.

• Documentation and Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP configurations, workflows, and procedures.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP B1 modules such as Finance, and Supply chain.
• Experience with SAP B1, S/4HANA**,** and other emerging SAP technologies.
• Experience with data migration, SAP B1 system performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with experience managing large-scale SAP B1 projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex SAP B1 issues.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and work effectively with senior leadership.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience working with SAP B1 systems, including significant experience in leading SAP B1 projects or managing SAP teams
