SAP Master Data Management

Working Location: Sathorn Bangkok, onsite

Contract Duration: 12 Months + extension based on performance

We are seeking an SAP MDG Data Management Engineer to support and enhance our SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Application & Platform. This role is responsible for supporting master data governance processes, maintaining platform stability, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with business and IT Teams to ensure high-quality master data across the enterprise. The focus should be less in architecture and platform ownership, and more on SAP MDG Support, configuration, troubleshooting, data governance operations, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support and administration for SAP MDG applications and related processes.
• Support & configure master data domains MDG as (MDG-M (Material Master), MDG-BP (Business Partner), MDG-C (Customer), MDG-S (Supplier/Vendor), MDG-F (Financial Objects), MDG-EAM (Enterprise Assets Management)) (at Least One), define data models, workflows, manage data replication, integration and business rules.
• Monitor system performance and address operational issues in a timely manner.
• Investigate and resolve SAP MDG application, workflow, and data replication issues.
• Analyze system errors and perform root-cause analysis.
• Work with SAP Basis, Security, Integration, and Functional teams to resolve technical and business issues.
• Coordinate with SAP and third-party vendors when necessary.
• Support master data governance processes and approval workflows.
• Ensure adherence to established master data standards and governance policies.
• Participate in SAP MDG enhancement, upgrade, and testing activities.
• Master Data Lifecycle Management, Data Governance policies, Data Stewardship processes
• Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new MDG capabilities.
• Utilize tools such as SAP Solution Manager & SAP Cloud ALM to monitor application health.
• Support configuration changes and deployment activities across landscape environments.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Maintain operational procedures, support documentation, and knowledge articles.

Technical Skills:

• 4-5 years SAP MDG Multi -Domain implementation/support experience including SAP experience.
• Minimum 2 End-to-End implementations for SAP MDG Covering all Standards and Custom Data Model.
• Understanding of SAP Master Data Governance concepts and processes like (Data Model concepts, MDG Governance Framework, Change Request (CR) process, Workflow configuration and management, Data Quality and Validation Rules, Duplicate Check and Data Consolidation).
• Understanding of SAP MDG Data Model Extension, Rule-Based Workflow, BRF+ (Business Rule Framework Plus), Data Replication Framework (DRF), Change Request Types, SMT Mapping, Enterprise Search, and Integration Technologies (e.g., ALE, IDoc, etc.), Support Experience.
• Hands-On Experience with at least one or more data domains as MDG-M (Material Master), MDG-BP (Business Partner), MDG-C (Customer), MDG-S (Supplier/Vendor), MDG-F (Financial Objects), MDG-EAM (Enterprise Assets Management).
• Knowledge of S/4HANA or SAP ECC Architecture, Authorization Concepts, System Monitoring, Transport Management, Performance Tuning, Job Scheduling, and Security.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications, SAP Integration/CPI, & SAP System Administration (Basis).
• Knowledge of S/4HANA Migration or Transformation.

Preferred Skills

• MDG-ITEGO (Reference Data Management).
• Fiori Apps for MDG, SAPUI5 basics, FPM, Web Dynpro.
• Basic ABAP debugging knowledge.
• SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), SOAP and REST APIs, OData Services.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• SAP MDG, SAP S/4HANA, or Master Data Management certifications are advantageous.
• Experience supporting enterprise-wide data governance or master data initiatives is preferred.
