About AXR Group

AXR Group is a Queensland property development and construction group. Our businesses span residential development, commercial property, 3D-printed concrete construction and export. We are building out the ERP systems that run across all of them, and we want people who can build them properly.

About the role

You will own the technical and solution architecture of AXR's ERP landscape. That covers integration, data, security, infrastructure and cloud. You will set the standards the developers and consultants work to, and you will make the platform decisions that are hard to undo later.

Key responsibilities

• Define the target architecture for SAP and Oracle platforms, including cloud, on-premises and hybrid components.
• Design integration patterns between the ERP and banking, payroll, CRM, document management and reporting platforms.
• Set standards for custom development, data models, security roles and segregation of duties.
• Review solution designs and code from developers and partners.
• Lead technical assessments for upgrades, migrations and new modules, including cost and risk analysis.
• Plan for performance, availability, backup, disaster recovery and licensing.
• Advise leadership on platform choices, vendor options and total cost of ownership.
• Mentor developers and consultants.

Essential requirements

• At least eight years' ERP experience, including at least three years in an architect or lead role on SAP or Oracle.
• Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or Oracle Cloud ERP architecture, and experience with at least one integration platform such as SAP BTP or Oracle Integration Cloud.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, APIs, event-driven design and data security.
• Experience designing security roles and segregation of duties on SAP or Oracle.
• Experience leading solution design for a multi-entity organisation.

Desirable

• SAP or Oracle architect certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Experience with multi-entity group consolidation.
• TOGAF or an equivalent architecture framework.

The person we are looking for

• Strategic, but still happy to build the thing.
• Willing to say no to a bad design, and to explain why in writing.
• Writes down architecture decisions so the reasons survive the people who made them.

Work arrangement

Based in Beenleigh, Queensland (11 Main Street, Beenleigh QLD 4207). Remote and work-from-home arrangements are available for this role. Working from AXR offices in other Australian locations is acceptable. Some travel to project sites and to Beenleigh may be needed.

Pay: $160,000.00 – $170,000.00 per year
