SAP OTC Senior Consultant - SAP S/4HANA Rollout

Job Purpose

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP OTC (Order to Cash) Consultant to join the rollout team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Transportation Management (TM) modules — implementation, configuration, and support. The consultant will work closely with business users (Super Key Users and Key Users) to understand business processes, and with the central Core Model team to design solutions and roll out these modules across legal entities in India. Significant experience with SAP Intercompany flows design and configuration is also required.

Job Scope

Roll-out of the client's global SAP S/4HANA Core Model at legal entities in India.

Responsibilities

• Act as the IT counterpart of Business Super Key Users, Key Users, and Business Process Experts (BPEs).

• Work closely with other IT departments on project-related tasks.

• Participate in Core Model (global template) alignment workshops.

• Ensure robust, seamless integration between OTC and TM, as well as adjacent modules (MM, FI-CO, EWM).

• Prepare and conduct localization workshops for India-specific requirements.

• Contribute at rollout (Wave) level in qualifying standard solutions vs. localization change requests with Super Key Users and Key Users.

• Write detailed functional specifications for custom developments (WRICEFs), guide ABAP developers, and troubleshoot complex system behaviors.

• Support business users in extracting, cleansing, populating, and transforming data per technical/functional rules, with support from India IT for data migration.

• Follow up data conversion activities to ensure data meets business expectations and SAP/Core Model technical requirements.

• Execute integration test scripts for interfaces and local applications.

• Execute UAT tests with/alongside Super Key Users and Key Users.

• Contribute to UAT by qualifying defects, assigning to relevant teams, and driving to closure.

• Build interfaces from/to SAP for local applications (when required).

• Define and manage cutover activities for own area.

• Support end users post go-live for 2 months (hypercare).

Requirements

Essential Education & Experience:

• Master's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Economics, or similar.

• Minimum 8 years of SAP experience (preferably in industrial companies), with at least 2 full-lifecycle S/4HANA implementations involving OTC and TM with FIORI.

• Deep knowledge of Sales Order Processing, Pricing/Condition Techniques, Billing, and Credit Management in the context of the Indian market and regulations.

• Strong hands-on experience with embedded or standalone SAP TM (Strategic Freight Management, Order Management, Planning, Execution, Charge Management/Settlement).

• Solid understanding of SD/OTC–TM integration touchpoints (e.g., Freight Unit generation, delivery splits, cost distribution) and integration with other SAP modules.

• Experience in data transformation and upload (SAP Migration Cockpit, LSMWs).

• Fluent English.
