The Role

Reporting into key executive stakeholders, the SAP Programme Director will take ownership for the end-to-end delivery of a complex, multinational SAP S/4HANA transformation programme. This role will be accountable for the overall delivery approach, programme governance, financial management, systems integrator oversight and successful implementation of SAP S/4HANA (plus the associated business change) across multiple countries and business entities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the delivery of a global SAP S/4HANA programme, establishing governance, programme controls, delivery methodology and execution plans across all phases of SAP Activate.
• Managing programme scope, budget, resources, quality, risks and vendor relationships to ensure successful delivery to time, cost and quality expectations.
• Building peer to peer partnerships with key business and technology stakeholders, ensuring alignment between Global Process Owners, Master Data Management, Architecture and Transformation teams to achieve progressive, long-term business outcomes.

The Candidate

We are looking for a highly credible, collaborative transformation leader with a clear track record of delivering large-scale SAP-enabled business change in complex, international businesses.

You will bring:

• Significant experience leading enterprise SAP implementation programmes, ideally of S4/HANA, across multi-country, multi-entity organisations, and having held personal, board-level accountability for successful outcomes.
• Deep expertise in SAP Activate, fit-to-standard delivery and programme delivery methodology and governance structure, alongside outstanding commercial, financial and systems integrator management capability.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, coupled with the flexible, solutions-focused and pragmatic approach which will enable relentless programme progress in this decentralised international business.

The successful individual will be comfortable balancing global standardisation with legitimate local business requirements, creating alignment through influence, credibility and strong programme leadership. Experience within regulated environments such as Food, Pharma or Life Sciences would be advantageous.
