Job Overview

Duties

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of SAP enterprise software projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across business units to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop comprehensive project plans utilizing tools such as Microsoft Project and Visio.
• Manage project teams through Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes continuous improvement and high performance.
• Oversee the development of test cases and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality and performance before deployment.
• Monitor project risks and issues proactively; develop mitigation strategies aligned with PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) standards.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders through regular updates, status reports, and presentations; ensure transparency throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Supervise project documentation including SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) artifacts, release management plans, disaster recovery procedures, and IT governance compliance.

Skills

• Extensive experience managing SAP or other enterprise software implementation projects within complex IT environments.
• Strong technical background with knowledge of AWS cloud computing services, SQL databases (including Oracle), and IT infrastructure components.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, TFS (Team Foundation Server), VersionOne, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Visio.
• Deep understanding of Agile (Scrum/Kanban), SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), Waterfall methodologies, and software development lifecycle best practices.
• Proven leadership in technical project management roles with supervisory experience overseeing cross-functional teams.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in fast-paced settings; adept at time management and risk mitigation strategies.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement, negotiation, conflict resolution, and team leadership.
• Familiarity with requirements gathering processes, user acceptance testing procedures, release management cycles, and disaster recovery planning.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
