Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager with strong SAP background and functional exposure to Procurement and Finance processes . The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing SAP projects, driving business transformation initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering SAP solutions aligned with business objectives.

The candidate should have good functional understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Procurement, and Finance processes , along with strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, and transformation projects from initiation through successful delivery.
• Manage project scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Drive SAP initiatives across Source-to-Pay (S2P), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Procurement, and Finance processes.
• Coordinate with SAP functional, technical, business, and external/vendor teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Manage project planning, resource allocation, budget tracking, governance, and delivery schedules.
• Establish project plans, define milestones, track progress, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide clear updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies and develop appropriate mitigation and resolution plans.
• Manage change requests, scope changes, and project priorities while maintaining delivery commitments.
• Ensure effective communication between business users, SAP teams, technical teams, vendors, and leadership.
• Support business process transformation and continuous improvement initiatives across Procurement and Finance.
• Facilitate requirement gathering, process discussions, solution reviews, testing, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
• Ensure project deliverables meet defined quality, compliance, and business requirements.
• Coordinate UAT, defect resolution, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Track project KPIs, action items, decisions, and deliverables and maintain appropriate project documentation.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve functional and project-related challenges.
• Drive stakeholder alignment and ensure timely decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills Experience

• 8-10+ years of overall experience in SAP project management and/or SAP delivery.
• Strong experience managing SAP projects and transformation initiatives .
• Good functional understanding of Procurement and Finance business processes .
• Hands-on functional exposure to S2P (Source-to-Pay) and P2P (Procure-to-Pay) processes.
• Strong understanding of SAP procurement-related processes such as:
  • Purchase Requisition
  • Purchase Order
  • Goods Receipt
  • Invoice Verification
  • Vendor/Supplier Management
  • Procurement Operations
• Good understanding of SAP Finance processes , including integration points between Procurement and Finance.
• Experience working with cross-functional SAP teams and business stakeholders.
• Strong project planning, execution, governance, and delivery management skills.
• Experience with risk, issue, dependency, change, and stakeholder management .
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-paced project environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA projects.
• Exposure to SAP modules such as SAP MM, SAP FI/CO, Ariba, or related Procurement/Finance solutions .
• Experience in SAP integration between Procurement and Finance .
• Experience managing global or large-scale SAP transformation programs.
• SAP Project Management or relevant SAP certifications will be an advantage.
• Experience working with implementation partners, system integrators, or external vendors.
