SAP S/4HANA Data Migration

About the role

We are looking for an SAP BODS Consultant with hands-on experience in data migration projects supporting SAP S/4HANA. The role will focus on developing ETL processes using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) to extract, cleanse, transform, validate, and migrate data from legacy systems into S/4HANA.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop BODS jobs, workflows, and dataflows for SAP S/4HANA migration.
• Extract and transform data from SAP ECC and non-SAP source systems.
• Perform data cleansing, standardization, mapping, enrichment, and transformation.
• Support master and transactional data harmonization and migration.
• Develop data quality, reconciliation, and validation reports.
• Collaborate with Functional, Data Migration, and Business teams on mapping and validation rules.
• Support Mock Conversion, SIT, UAT, Dress Rehearsal, and Production Cutover.
• Troubleshoot migration issues and optimize ETL performance.
• Prepare technical specifications, migration documentation, and operational runbooks.

About you

• 3+ years of SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) experience.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA data migration.
• Strong SQL and ETL skills.
• Experience in data profiling, cleansing, transformation, and data quality management.
• Experience migrating SAP master data such as Business Partner (BP), Customer, Vendor, Material, GL, and Cost Center.
• Experience with transactional data migration.
• Knowledge of data mapping, reconciliation, and validation.
• Strong troubleshooting and ETL performance optimization skills.
• Experience with SAP Migration Cockpit (nice-to-have).
• Knowledge of SAP Data Services Migration Workbench (nice-to-have).
