SAP SCPI Integration specialist

For one of my customer we are looking for a SAP SCPI Integration specialist.

Duration: 6+ months renewable

Location: Europe(100% remote)

Description:

We are looking for a technically skilled SAP Integration Support Specialist to support and troubleshoot integrations between SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and SAP ERP HCM. The role focuses on employee and organizational data replication, integration logic, data quality, and root-cause analysis rather than new integration development.

The consultant will act as a bridge between HR/business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring accurate, reliable, and compliant data flows across connected systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse existing SAP CPI integration interfaces, business rules, field mappings, and transformation logic.
• Monitor, configure, and troubleshoot employee and organizational data replication from Employee Central to SAP ERP HCM.
• Investigate employee data inconsistencies, validation errors, and replication failures by reviewing EC profiles and SAP HR records.
• Monitor, analyse, resolve, and reprocess IDocs, including issues related to infotypes, data mapping, and transformation logic.
• Perform ABAP debugging and use relevant SAP HR transactions to investigate integration issues, including employee lifecycle and organizational data problems.
• Identify and support relevant SAP BADIs affecting HR and integration processes.
• Collaborate with CPI developers, HR teams, application owners, and external partners to clarify integration logic and resolve data issues.
• Maintain mapping tables and transformation rules in line with business requirements and system changes.
• Support integration testing, data reconciliation, validation, and quality assurance.
• Document integration processes, data flows, troubleshooting procedures, error handling, and escalation paths.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and SAP HR/HCM.
• Mandatory experience configuring and supporting employee and organizational data replication between Employee Central and SAP ERP HCM.
• Strong knowledge of SAP CPI and integration technologies, including IDoc, API, SFTP, and CSV-based data flows.
• Practical experience with IDoc monitoring, error analysis, resolution, and reprocessing.
• Experience with SAP ABAP debugging and relevant SAP HR transactions.
• Knowledge of SAP HR infotypes, data structures, employee lifecycle processes, and organizational data.
• Experience analysing and supporting SAP BADIs, data mapping, transformation logic, and validation rules.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
