SAP SD Consultant – Medior

Our client a global materials technology and recycling group, with a mission to reduce harmful emissions, power the cars of the future, and give new life to used metals. Our Information Systems department plays a crucial role in supporting our sustainability goals and business operations.

Primary Tasks & Responsibilities:
As part of our SAP ECC to SAP S/4 system migration program, we are looking for a SAP consultant to strengthen the Trade Compliance workstream. While prior Trade Compliance experience is an advantage, coaching and knowledge transfer can be provided internally.
The candidate should have a solid experience in SAP SD and MM and should be eager to expand his/her expertise into SAP International Trade. The consultant should possess a strong combination of business process knowledge and technical understanding to support design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.

Key activities include:
• Configure and test SD&MM flows involving international trade requirements
• Write design documents for international trade developments
• Support the setup of potential SAP interfaces with 3rd party systems to enable communication with customs authorities
• Support the international trade integrations with other SAP modules (SD, MM, TM, …)
• Pick up cross-domain topics that need clarification with other teams
• Provide hyper-care and 1st line support during go-live and post go-live activities

Technical Profile Requirements
• 5 years + experience in SAP Sales & Distribution and Purchasing (SAP international trade knowledge is a plus)
• Technical knowledge (reading and understanding ABAP)
• Functional / business process expertise needed

• Communication skills, working in a team, flexible, committed
