Project Overview:

We are looking for an experienced SAP Security & Authorizations Lead to support a major SAP S/4HANA transformation programme. This role is ideal for a senior SAP Security professional with deep expertise in role design, access governance, SAP GRC Access Control, Segregation of Duties (SoD), and SAP RISE environments .

As a key member of the programme, you will be responsible for designing and governing SAP security concepts, ensuring compliant access management, and supporting audit and control activities across a complex enterprise SAP landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP Security and Authorization activities across S/4HANA environments.
• Design, implement, and govern SAP roles and authorization concepts in line with business requirements.
• Manage and oversee role and access changes within SAP RISE or comparable enterprise SAP landscapes.
• Perform SAP GRC Access Control activities, including: Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis, Risk identification and assessment, Mitigation and remediation activities
• Translate business processes, activities, and authorization requirements into appropriate access models and user classifications.
• Partner with business stakeholders, SAP platform teams, IAM, Security, Procurement, and License Management functions.
• Support internal and external audits by producing clear, traceable, and reusable control evidence.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of access governance, security controls, and compliance processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 7 years of experience in SAP Security & Authorizations .
• Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA role design and authorization concepts .
• Hands-on experience with SAP GRC Access Control .
• Strong knowledge of: Segregation of Duties (SoD), Access Governance, Risk Mitigation and Remediation, User Access Management
• Experience managing access and role governance within SAP RISE environments or similarly complex enterprise SAP landscapes.
• Strong understanding of how business processes translate into SAP authorization and access requirements.
• Experience supporting regulatory, compliance, internal, or external audit activities.
• Ability to create high-quality audit evidence and control documentation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
