SAP Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead end-to-end SAP technical architecture and solution design.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
• Provide technical leadership to SAP ABAP development teams.
• Translate business and functional requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Drive S/4HANA transformation, modernization, and Clean Core initiatives.
• Review technical designs, coding approaches, performance, and development standards.
• Work closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, integration teams, and developers.
• Define appropriate in-app and side-by-side extension strategies.
• Participate in solution reviews, technical estimations, project planning, and architecture discussions.
• Mentor technical teams and ensure adherence to SAP development and architecture standards.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of SAP ABAP experience with solution architecture exposure.

• Strong experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.

• Strong expertise in ABAP on HANA and Object-Oriented ABAP.

• Hands-on experience with:

• CDS Views

• OData

• RAP

• RICEF

• SAP HANA

• ABAP Development Tools (ADT)

• Strong understanding of S/4HANA architecture and Clean Core principles.

• Experience with SAP Fiori, UI5, and Fiori Elements.

• Knowledge of SAP BTP and CAP.

• Strong understanding of SAP integration, REST APIs, and OData services.

• Experience with SAP extension and enhancement frameworks.

• Strong technical design, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with SAP BTP-based solutions.
• S/4HANA implementation, migration, or transformation experience.
• Global rollout / multi-country implementation experience.
• Knowledge of SCM, MM, or PP.
• SAP ABAP / S/4HANA certification.
• Experience leading and mentoring technical teams.
