SAP Technical Architect

Role Overview

The SAP Technical Architect will be responsible for governing SAP technical architecture and integration strategies, leading technical design for SAP implementations and migrations, and ensuring adherence to SAP technical best practices. The role will provide technical leadership across SAP environments, including ECC to S/4HANA migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Govern and define SAP technical architecture and integration strategies.
• Lead technical architecture and design for SAP implementations.
• Provide technical leadership for SAP ECC to S/4HANA migrations .
• Develop and review technical solution designs and architecture.
• Review custom SAP development and ensure alignment with technical standards.
• Provide guidance on SAP development best practices and architectural principles.
• Evaluate technical solutions and integration approaches.
• Work with functional and technical teams to ensure architecture aligns with business requirements.
• Provide technical guidance on SAP development technologies including ABAP, Fiori/UI5, OData, and SAP Gateway .
• Support technical decision-making across SAP transformation and implementation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field .
• 10+ years of experience in SAP technical roles.
• Deep knowledge of SAP NetWeaver .
• Strong knowledge of ABAP .
• Strong understanding of SAP Fiori/UI5 .
• Strong knowledge of OData and SAP Gateway .
• Experience with SAP technical architecture and integration strategies.
• Experience supporting or leading SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration initiatives.
• Strong experience reviewing custom development and applying SAP technical best practices.

Preferred Certifications

• SAP Certified Technology Associate – System Administration (SAP HANA or SAP NetWeaver)
• SAP Certified Development Specialist – ABAP for SAP HANA
• SAP Certified Technology Architect
