Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Review SAP security and authorization test cases raised by testers.
• Validate test cases against business process and role requirements.
• Perform role and authorization testing to ensure appropriate access is provisioned.
• Review and validate SAP roles, authorization objects and access.
• Perform SoD conflict and access-risk analysis as part of role testing.
• Conduct Test Case Authoring & Design (TCA) and Post Execution Review (PER).
• Review test execution results and identify authorization/security gaps.
• Log and review defects in ALM and ensure proper remediation.
• Coordinate with SAP Security, functional, business and testing teams for retesting and defect closure.
• Support SIT, UAT and regression testing for SAP security/role changes.
• Ensure testing follows defined quality standards and documentation requirements.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong SAP Testing experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with ALM / HP ALM / Quality Center.
• Experience in Test Case Review, Test Case Authoring and Test Execution Review.
• Strong experience in SAP Security / Authorization Testing SAP Security, PFCG, SU24, SU53, ST01, STAUTHTRACE.
• Strong understanding of SAP Roles and Role Testing.
• Strong knowledge of SoD conflicts and access-risk analysis.
• Experience validating SAP authorization/access against business requirements.
• Good understanding of SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of Fiori roles, catalogs and authorization is preferred.
• Experience with defect logging, retesting and closure.
• Good understanding of SAP business processes and ability to validate end-to-end access scenarios.
