SAS Administrator

Overview:

• We are seeking a highly skilled SAS Administrator to join our team
• The SAS Administrator will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of SAS (Statistical Analysis System) software environments
• This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise in SAS and a deep understanding of system performance optimization and data security

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain SAS software, including SAS servers, clients, and third-party components
• Configure and manage SAS metadata, user permissions, and authentication protocols
• Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as applying patches, updates, and hotfixes
• Manage backup and recovery processes for SAS environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues promptly
• Provide technical support to SAS users, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SAS applications and data
• Develop and deliver training sessions and documentation for end-users and technical staff
• Ensure that SAS environments comply with organizational security policies and standards
• Implement and maintain data security measures to protect sensitive information
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities
• Monitor system performance and resource usage, identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks
• Optimize SAS processes and workflows to improve efficiency and performance
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate SAS with other systems and applications
• Work closely with data analysts, statisticians, and business users to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions
