SAT Exam Prep Tutor (Math and/or Reading)

Responsibilities

• Deliver dynamic SAT preparation lessons focused on critical reading, math, writing, and test-taking strategies.
• Develop customized lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and learning styles.
• Utilize innovative learning technology to enhance lesson engagement and comprehension.
• Assess student progress regularly through practice tests and provide constructive feedback.
• Manage classroom environments effectively, ensuring a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all learners.
• Incorporate curriculum development principles to keep lessons current, relevant, and effective.
• Support students with diverse learning needs, including those in special education or requiring additional academic support.

Experience

• Prior classroom experience or tutoring experience in math, reading, or writing is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the SAT exam structure, question types, and scoring methods.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students of varying ages and skill levels.
• Familiarity with learning technology tools used in educational settings.
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to motivate and engage learners actively.
• Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development to create structured yet flexible lessons.
