SAT Instructor (Part-Time, Contract)

Job Description -About the Role

We are seeking exceptional SAT instructors to join our growing academic team. If you have a passion for teaching, a deep understanding of the SAT, and a proven ability to help students achieve substantial score improvements, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality one-on-one or small-group SAT instruction in Reading & Writing and/or Math.
• Develop personalized learning plans based on each student’s strengths and weaknesses.
• Teach core concepts, advanced strategies, and effective test-taking techniques using a systematic curriculum.
• Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide actionable feedback.
• Help students build confidence, improve academic skills, and maximize their SAT performance.
• Communicate professionally with students and parents regarding progress and study plans.
• Collaborate with the academic team to continuously refine teaching materials and best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of SAT teaching experience with a strong track record of student success.
• Deep, comprehensive, and systematic knowledge of the SAT exam structure, content, and scoring methodology.
• Demonstrated ability to help students achieve significant score improvements, including guiding high-performing students to top scores.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify learning gaps quickly.
• Passionate about mentoring students and committed to delivering exceptional educational outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching students applying to highly selective U.S. universities.
• Familiarity with the latest Digital SAT format and adaptive testing strategies.
• Prior curriculum development or teacher training experience.
• Ability to teach both SAT Math and SAT Reading & Writing is a plus.

Pay: $20,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
