SAT Tutor (Remote)

We are looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated SAT Tutor to provide one-on-one support to high school students preparing for the SAT. As a Remote SAT Tutor, you will lead personalized and engaging online sessions through video conferencing platforms, helping students improve their scores and work toward admission to their preferred colleges.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver Individualized Instruction – Adapt teaching methods to fit each student’s learning style and academic needs, with a focus on SAT Math, Reading, Writing, and Language.

Develop and Execute Lesson Plans – Create structured lesson plans based on each student’s goals and aligned with SAT content.

Administer and Evaluate Practice Tests – Assign, supervise, and review SAT practice exams, providing detailed feedback and effective strategies for improvement.

Monitor Academic Progress – Track student performance consistently and adjust lessons as needed to keep students moving toward their goals.

Encourage and Support Students – Help students stay motivated, focused, and confident throughout the preparation process.

Stay Informed on SAT Updates – Remain current on any SAT format changes, content updates, and test-taking strategies to ensure accurate and effective instruction.

Qualifications

Experience – At least 1 year of SAT tutoring experience is preferred, whether in person or online. Strong understanding of the SAT structure, content, and test strategies is required.

Education – A bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred. Advanced degrees or teaching credentials are a plus.

Technical Skills – Comfortable using online tutoring platforms such as Zoom or Google Meet, along with other digital teaching tools.

Communication Skills – Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain difficult concepts in a clear and simple way.

Availability – Flexible scheduling to accommodate students in different time zones. Evening and weekend availability may be needed.

Proven Results – Demonstrated success in helping students improve their SAT scores.

Adaptability – Ability to work effectively with students from different backgrounds and skill levels by adjusting instructional methods as needed.

Test Preparation Knowledge – Familiarity with other standardized exams such as the ACT or PSAT is a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
