Saw Operator

Job Purpose / Summary:

Initially established in 1997, we specialise in Precision Engineering and have built a vast number of relationships with customers who require aluminium profile and have become one of the UK’s leading suppliers of Extruded Aluminium profile, accessories and associated products.

You’ll be joining a small and very close-knit team and so will be expected to be adaptable in your approach, as well as your working hours.

Key Responsibilities, Main Tasks & Deliverables:

• Working for an established Aluminium profile company who design and manufacture bespoke products throughout various industries.
• Duties would involve handling profile and cutting to length on a Digital Saw
• Processing orders and ensuring correct material is picked and cut to the required length
• Training on machinery will be provided - No experience necessary but a background in this area would be useful
• Restocking of material on to racking- Physical lifting will be required
• Ability to stay organised and work independently but also in a team environment
• Maintaining a clean work area and assisting in basic shopfloor duties.
