About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Saw Operator to join our team in a busy steel fabrication environment. This role involves operating bandsaw equipment, handling materials, and supporting daily production activities.

Responsibilities

• Operate bandsaws to cut steel to required specifications.
• Read and follow work orders, cut lists, and measurements.
• Operate forklifts and zoom booms to move and organize materials.
• Load, unload, and handle steel materials safely.
• Verify cut accuracy and material quantities.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist with general shop duties as required.

Requirements

• Previous bandsaw operating experience.
• Forklift and zoom boom operating experience.
• Experience handling steel and other heavy materials.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently or with a team.

Assets

• Experience in a steel fabrication environment.
• Forklift and zoom boom certifications.
