Acme Machine Works is an established industrial manufacturing company specializing in custom-built machinery for the aluminum industry. We are looking for a dependable, safety-conscious team member to support our manufacturing operations through material cutting, handling, and transportation.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate manual saws to cut metal stock to specified lengths.
• Operate automatic saws and ensure materials are cut accurately and efficiently.
• Read work orders, measurements, and material specifications.
• Load, unload, move, and organize raw materials throughout the shop.
• Drive company vehicles to pick up and deliver materials, parts, and supplies as needed.
• Perform routine equipment checks and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and material-handling practices.
• Assist other shop personnel with general manufacturing and material-handling duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable using measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to safely lift and move metal materials and work on your feet throughout the day.
• Manufacturing, warehouse, saw operation, or material-handling experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
