Responsibilities

• Operate sawmill equipment, including band saws and other woodworking machines, ensuring precise cuts and optimal performance
• Handle wood materials safely using material handling equipment such as forklifts and hand tools
• Keep facility and workspace clean and clear of excess lumber and debris
• Follow safety standards and protocols diligently to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and team members

Skills

• Proficiency in operating woodworking machines and power tools with attention to safety standards in production environments
• Mechanical knowledge related to machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material specifications accurately
• Construction or carpentry experience is advantageous; warehouse experience also beneficial but not required

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
