SC Cleared Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor premises and detect suspicious activity
• Manage access control by verifying identities and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
• Perform loss prevention duties by observing for theft or vandalism and responding appropriately
• Respond swiftly to security incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid when necessary
• Maintain detailed records of security activities, incidents, and patrols through shift reports and logs
• Carry out routine inspections of the facility’s perimeter, entrances, and sensitive areas to ensure security integrity
• Collaborate with emergency responders and internal teams during incidents to facilitate swift resolution

Qualifications

• Valid SC security clearance demonstrating trustworthiness and reliability
• Proven experience in surveillance, CCTV operation, or security roles preferred
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and CCTV systems operation
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations; first aid certification is a plus
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail and situational awareness
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and coordination with team members
• Physically capable of standing, walking, or patrolling for extended periods throughout shifts

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 36.0 per week
