SCADA Developer

This role focuses on developing and managing SCADA systems and data integration workflows within a dynamic operational technology and IT development team. The position is pivotal in enhancing database engineering and SQL development for the enterprise SCADA platform, impacting produced water and midstream pipeline networks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring robust data ingestion and system integration while working with cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas to support the enterprise SCADA platform.
• Build and maintain automated data pipelines and integration workflows that enhance data accessibility across operations.
• Collaborate with the operational technology team to integrate industrial SCADA systems with existing IT infrastructure.
• Utilize Python or similar scripting languages to automate processes and improve system efficiency.
• Participate in the implementation of industrial messaging protocols to ensure reliable data communication across systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge of SQL, including joins, queries, and data relationships, along with relational database design.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL / TimescaleDB, particularly in writing and maintaining complex SQL queries.
• Familiarity with Python or similar object-oriented/scripting languages for automation and data processing.
• Experience with building automated data pipelines and integration workflows to facilitate data accessibility.
