About the role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Scaffolding Specialist to join ZC KINGS MANPOWER COOPERATIVE in Parañaque City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, stability and efficiency of temporary structures on construction and building services engineering projects. As a Scaffolding Specialist, you will be responsible for the design, erection, maintenance and dismantling of scaffolding systems that support workers and materials during construction activities. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining compliance with safety regulations and contributing to the successful completion of projects across our portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Design and plan scaffolding systems in accordance with engineering specifications, building codes and safety standards
• Supervise the erection and assembly of temporary scaffolding structures on construction sites
• Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding installations to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety requirements
• Perform maintenance and repairs on existing scaffolding systems to address wear, damage or deterioration
• Oversee the safe dismantling and removal of scaffolding upon project completion
• Coordinate with construction teams, site supervisors and other trades to ensure scaffolding requirements are met
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of scaffolding installations, inspections and maintenance activities
• Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards related to scaffolding operations
• Train and guide scaffolding crew members on proper installation, usage and safety protocols
• Ensure all scaffolding materials are properly stored, inventoried and maintained

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in scaffolding design, erection and dismantling within the building services engineering or construction industry
• Comprehensive knowledge of scaffolding systems, including tube-and-clamp, system scaffolding and suspended scaffolding
• Strong understanding of relevant Philippine building codes, safety standards and occupational health regulations
• Certification or licensing in scaffolding operations (such as OSHA certification or equivalent local qualifications)
• Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in structural calculations
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and coordinate teams
• Physical fitness and capability to work at heights and in challenging site conditions
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and compliance with health and safety regulations
• Experience with project management tools and site coordination software is preferred
