Scaffolding Estimator

Role Summary:

As a Scaffolding Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive estimates for scaffolding projects across commercial, residential, and industrial sectors. You will work closely with the operations and sales teams to ensure tenders and quotes reflect both the client’s needs and our company's capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed scaffolding estimates and tender submissions.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and site requirements.
• Conduct site visits and liaise with clients to assess project scope.
• Calculate material, labour, and transport costs.
• Collaborate with project managers and design teams to ensure buildability and efficiency.
• Track and manage ongoing tenders and submitted quotations.
• Negotiate and communicate with clients to clarify requirements and expectations.
• Maintain accurate records and pricing databases

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a scaffolding estimator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, practices, and regulations.
• Ability to read technical drawings and site plans.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimation software (e.g., Smart Scaffolder, Bluebeam, etc.).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Full UK driving licence
