Scaffolding Supervisor

• Ensure all scaffolding operations comply with local safety regulations and industry standards to foster a safe working environment.
• Supervise the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding structures, ensuring adherence to design specifications and load capacities.
• Coordinate with project managers and other construction supervisors to ensure timely and efficient scaffolding operations aligned with project timelines.
• Provide on-site training and guidance to scaffolding crews, enhancing their skills and ensuring safe work practices are followed.
• Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding equipment and materials to identify defects or maintenance issues, reporting findings promptly.
• Lead safety meetings and toolbox talks to promote awareness and discuss potential hazards related to scaffolding work.
• Maintain accurate records of scaffolding activities, including daily reports, safety inspections, and inventory management.
• Assist in the development and implementation of scaffolding plans and strategies that optimize resource use and minimize downtime.
• Address and resolve any scaffolding-related issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and effectively.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new scaffolding technologies, and best practices to continuously improve operational efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; further qualifications in construction management or engineering are preferred.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in scaffolding or a related construction field in UAE, demonstrating progressive responsibility.
• Valid scaffolding supervisor certification from a recognized authority, showcasing adherence to industry safety standards.
• Experience in high-rise construction or complex scaffolding projects is a significant advantage.
• Strong understanding of local building codes and safety regulations related to scaffolding and construction.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English; proficiency in additional languages is a bonus for diverse work environments.
• Excellent leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing teams and fostering a collaborative workplace culture.
• Proficient in using scaffolding design software and tools, along with basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job, including climbing, lifting, and working at heights safely.
