Location: Roscommon / Sligo

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Scaffolding Supervisor to oversee scaffolding crews operating across multiple construction sites in Roscommon and Sligo.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing crews of scaffolders across 2–3 sites, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements and relevant safety standards.

The role will require regular travel between sites to carry out weekly scaffold inspections and provide supervision and support to the scaffolding teams.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate scaffolding crews across 2–3 sites.
• Plan and coordinate daily scaffolding activities across assigned sites.
• Carry out weekly scaffold inspections at each site.
• Ensure scaffolding works are completed safely and in accordance with required standards.
• Monitor the quality and progress of scaffolding works.
• Identify and address safety issues or defects where required.
• Ensure scaffolders follow site health and safety procedures.
• Liaise with site management and construction teams regarding scaffolding requirements.
• Coordinate resources, materials, and workforce requirements.
• Provide guidance and support to scaffolding crews.
• Maintain appropriate inspection and safety records.
• Travel regularly between Roscommon and Sligo sites.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience as a Scaffolding Supervisor or in an Advanced Scaffolding role.
• Advanced Scaffolding Certificate – required.
• Strong knowledge of scaffolding safety requirements and inspection procedures.
• Ability to carry out regular scaffold inspections.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites.
• Full availability to travel between Roscommon and Sligo.
• Valid Advanced Scaffolded Certificate, Safe Pass and Manual Handling Certificate preferred.
• Right to work in Ireland required.

• Job Type: Full-time, Contract, Permanent
• Work Location: Roscommon / Sligo, Ireland
• Schedule: 8.5 -hour shift, Monday to Friday
• PAYE & RCT options available

• Rates: Depending on candidate experience and suitability
