Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Scaffolding Supervisor to supervise and coordinate scaffolding activities at an industrial/plant site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient scaffolding erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling in accordance with approved procedures and site safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise scaffolding teams and coordinate daily scaffolding activities at site.
• Plan and organize scaffolding erection, modification, dismantling, and inspection activities.
• Ensure scaffolding is erected and maintained in accordance with approved drawings, procedures, and applicable safety standards.
• Inspect scaffolding structures and ensure they are safe and fit for use before handover.
• Ensure proper tagging and identification of scaffolding after inspection.
• Monitor scaffolding materials, equipment, access, platforms, guardrails, toe boards, ladders, and related components.
• Coordinate with Construction, Maintenance, HSE, and other site teams to meet project requirements.
• Ensure scaffolding activities are carried out in compliance with PTW, JSA, risk assessments, and site HSE procedures.
• Identify unsafe conditions and immediately take corrective action.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe storage of scaffolding materials.
• Supervise workers and ensure they follow safe working practices and company procedures.
• Maintain daily records, inspection reports, and scaffolding activity documentation.
• Ensure all scaffolding work is completed safely and within the required schedule.
• Conduct toolbox talks and communicate safety requirements to scaffolding personnel.
• Report any incidents, defects, or unsafe practices to the appropriate site management/HSE team.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Scaffolding Supervisor.
• Plant/industrial plant experience is preferred.
• Must hold a valid CISRS Scaffolding Supervisor Certificate.
• Strong knowledge of scaffolding erection, inspection, modification, and dismantling.
• Good understanding of industrial/plant site safety requirements.
• Ability to supervise scaffolding crews and coordinate effectively with other site disciplines.
• Good knowledge of work permits, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safe working practices.
• Physically fit and capable of working in an industrial site environment.
