Scaffolding Yardman Labour

About the role

We are a well-established scaffolding company based in Logan area looking for a reliable and hardworking Scaffolding Yardman and scaffold labour to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and organisation of our scaffolding yard, prepare the order, including receiving, sorting, checking, loading and unloading scaffolding materials and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the order, receive, unload and organise scaffolding materials and equipment
• Sort, stack and maintain scaffolding components in the yard
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Operate a forklift to move scaffolding materials around the yard
• Check incoming and returned materials for damage, condition and quantity
• Prepare scaffolding materials for upcoming projects
• Keep the yard clean, tidy and well organised
• Assist with loading trucks for site deliveries and collections
• Identify damaged or missing equipment and report issues to management
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times

About you

• Current Forklift Licence (LF) – essential
• White Card – essential
• Previous scaffolding yard or construction industry experience highly regarded
• Good understanding of scaffolding materials and components preferred
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Good communication and a positive attitude
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Commitment to workplace safety
