Position: Scala Developer
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 12 months
Client: Morgan Stanley
Job Description:
Strong experience with Scala development.
Hands-on experience with Apache Spark / Spark Scala.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
Experience with DB2, Snowflake, and PostgreSQL is preferred.
Experience with data engineering, ETL/data processing, and large-scale data applications.
Experience working in enterprise/banking environments is a plus.
Strong understanding of software development, testing, and deployment practices.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Important: The role requires 3 days onsite in New York, NY, and the client may require an in-person interview.
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 per week
Work Location: In person
