Scale House Operator

Summary of Position:

We are looking for a Scale House Operator to join our AggreCore Materials team. As a Scale House Operator, you will weigh trucks, verify purchase orders, answer phone inquiries, and provide customer service. You will work closely with the field and office teams, drivers, vendors, and clients.

About the Role

Responsibilities:

• Weigh trucks, issue tickets, manage traffic flow, and support efficient dispatching.
• Complete administrative tasks such as verifying purchase orders, overweight permits, and complete daily paperwork.
• Greet visitors, answer calls, and maintain office and plant inventory.

Physical Requirements

The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. The position may require:

· Prolonged standing and walking throughout quarry operations.

· Walking on uneven, rocky, muddy, or unstable surfaces.

· Bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and crouching.

· Wearing required PPE for extended periods.

· Working around moving machinery, heavy equipment, and commercial vehicles.

Required Key Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Good organizational and math skills
• Good verbal and written communications skills.
• Able to use scanners and printers.
• Knowledge of Microsoft suite
