CDL Class B or A (a bonus)

Scale Installation and Maintenance Duties:

• Installation: Setting up and configuring scales at various locations, including industrial settings, retail stores, and transportation hubs.
• Preventative Maintenance: Regularly inspecting and maintaining scales to ensure they are functioning correctly and accurately.
• Repair: Diagnosing and repairing issues with scales, including replacing parts, troubleshooting electrical or mechanical problems, and recalibrating the equipment.

Calibration and Testing:

• Calibration:. Using certified weights and other tools to verify the accuracy of scales and ensure they meet required standards.
• Testing:. Conducting various tests to ensure the scale's functionality and accuracy, including load testing and resolution testing.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of service and calibration activities, including calibration certificates, service reports, and parts used.
• Reporting: Providing reports to clients on the condition of their scales, any issues found, and recommended repairs or maintenance.

Customer Interaction:

• Client Interaction: Communicating with clients in a professional and courteous manner, discussing service requirements, providing estimates, and addressing any concerns or questions.
• Problem Solving: Understanding and resolving customer issues related to scale operation and accuracy.

Safety and Compliance:

• Safety: Adhering to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure working environment, especially when working with heavy equipment and electrical components.
• Compliance: Ensuring that serviced scales meet all quality and regulatory standards and are suitable for their intended applications.

Job Type: Full-time with overtime as required
