Staffing Coordinator

Requirement: CENA certified

Position Summary:

The Staffing Coordinator ensures appropriate nursing staff are scheduled to meet resident care needs and regulatory requirements. This role manages the clinical master schedule, tracks attendance, oversees agency usage, and provides clerical support to the Nursing Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop,maintain, and adjust master staffing schedules based on census and budget.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility staffing regulations.
• Track and secure coverage for open shifts, vacations, and call-offs.
• Maintainstaffing records, attendance logs, and PBJ reporting.
• Collaborate with HR/Payroll Coordinator on timekeeping, PTO, and personnel changes.
• Communicate staffing updates to nursing leadership and facility administration.
• Monitorand report agency usage and verify hours worked.
• Support survey readiness bymaintainingaccurate staffing documentation.
