At 4lifeskills, we believe there are simply more possibilities for work, home, health and fun, and together with our community, we make them happen. Our values of Responsiveness, Passion, Trust and Connectedness guide everything we do.

We're looking for an organised, solutions-focused and person-centred Scheduler to join our Operations team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex rostering challenges and wants to make a real difference in the lives of people with disability.

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations & Development Manager, you'll be part of a collaborative Scheduling team responsible for coordinating worker rosters across the organisation. Together with the Scheduling team, you'll balance participant needs, worker availability, contracted hours, skills, funding requirements and SCHADS Award compliance to deliver efficient, person-centred rosters that support both our participants and workforce.

This is a dynamic full-time role where every day is different. You'll work closely with participants, families, support workers and operational leaders to coordinate roster changes, respond to cancellations, forecast workforce requirements and ensure services continue to run smoothly.

This is a multi-site position operating across our Rockingham, Spearwood and Gosnells offices. You'll work collaboratively across all three locations to support our operational teams and ensure quality service delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll play a key role in:

  • Developing and maintaining accurate, compliant worker rosters.
  • Matching workers to participants based on skills, preferences and individual support needs.
  • Managing roster changes, leave requests and workforce availability.
  • Ensuring compliance with the SCHADS Award, NDIS requirements and organisational procedures.
  • Monitoring participant funding utilisation and supporting efficient workforce allocation.
  • Coordinating rostering for events, Short Term Respite (STR) and other service activities.
  • Maintaining accurate scheduling data, NDIS line items and billing information.
  • Working collaboratively with operational leaders to maximise workforce utilisation and service continuity.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.

  • A proactive problem solver who enjoys finding practical solutions.
  • Calm under pressure and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Participant-focused with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical, adaptable and confident making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about delivering great outcomes for both participants and employees.

Essential Requirements

To be successful, you'll have:

  • Experience developing and managing high-volume rosters.
  • Experience using computerised rostering systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working within the disability or community services sector.
  • Sound knowledge of the SCHADS Award, NDIS Practice Standards and disability service delivery.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills.
  • The ability to prioritise competing demands while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Relevant qualification in Human Services, Community Services or equivalent experience.

Why Join 4lifeskills?

At 4lifeskills you'll join a supportive, collaborative team where your work has a direct impact on the quality of supports we provide every day.

We offer:

  • A rewarding operational role where you can make a genuine difference.
  • Opportunities to contribute to service innovation and continuous improvement.
  • A collaborative and values-driven workplace culture.
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Access to not-for-profit salary packaging to maximise your take-home pay.
  • Professional development and career progression opportunities.

If you're passionate about creating quality rosters, supporting frontline teams and making a genuine difference in the lives of people with disability, we'd love to hear from you.
