Monday-Friday, Full-Time

The Patient Scheduler plays an important role in providing a positive patient experience by coordinating appointments, communicating with patients and providers, and ensuring schedules are accurate and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and procedures
• Communicate with patients by phone regarding appointments, preparation instructions, and scheduling needs
• Confirm appointments and assist patients with questions related to their scheduled procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient and scheduling information
• Obtain and verify necessary patient information and documentation
• Reschedule appointments and procedures when necessary
• Provide friendly, professional, and compassionate customer service
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all applicable office policies and procedures
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous medical office, scheduling, or healthcare experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable communicating with patients by phone and in person
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records preferred
