- Respond to and manage phone calls and emails from clients, traffic controllers, and colleagues in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare rosters based on Traffic Controller (TC) skill categories, such as Categories A, B, and C, while considering the type and location of work and resolving scheduling challenges.
- Adapt schedules as required to accommodate client and internal requests while meeting operational and business requirements.
- Maintain accurate records in Alloc8, including job entries, staff unavailability, late cancellations, and resource changes, in accordance with established procedures.
- Review relevant permits, traffic management plans, and approvals, ensuring all documentation is correctly uploaded to Alloc8.
- Coordinate with Operational Coordinators, Yard, and Planning teams to arrange job-specific requirements, including equipment hire, signage, and subcontractor or cross-hire resources.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to other team members as needed.

- A strong commitment to promoting safe work practices.
- Sound administrative skills and confidence using computer systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong customer service focus.
- A self-motivated, proactive, and solutions-focused approach to work.
- The ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adjust schedules in response to changing client and operational requirements.
- New Zealand residency or a valid New Zealand work visa or permit.
- Experience in traffic management or a similar industry is highly desirable.
