The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) is looking for visionary Project Schedulers and Senior Regional Construction Schedulers to join our Facilities Services Division.

In this role, you won’t just be managing timelines; you’ll be ensuring that millions of students have the modern, safe, and innovative learning environments they deserve. From multi-billion dollar programs to critical local upgrades, your expertise will be the heartbeat of our project execution.

What You'll Bring We are looking for analytical thinkers who pair technical mastery with clear communication.

• Whether you are an emerging professional with 3+ years of experience (Associate/Project level) or a seasoned veteran with 10-14+ years of expertise (Senior level), you have a proven track record in large-scale construction.
• Expert-level proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project is a must. Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and cost-loading is highly preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management. (For Senior candidates, 14+ years of industry experience can pave the way for those with degrees in other fields).
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, a "forensic" eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, public-agency environment..

What You'll Do

• Develop and oversee complex, resource-loaded Baseline Construction Schedules using Oracle Primavera P6.
• Perform rigorous Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis and Time Impact Analysis (TIA) to identify risks before they become delays.
• Partner with Architects, Engineers, and Site Staff to independently interpret detailed construction drawings and ensure work scopes are perfectly aligned with timelines.
• Review contractor monthly updates, provide forensic schedule assessments, and deliver high-level reports to leadership to ensure key performance milestones are met.
• For Senior Roles: Assist in the supervision of project schedulers, setting the standard for scheduling excellence across the entire region.
