Scheduler / Floater

The Gastroenterology Clinic, a medical practice in Monroe/West Monroe, is seeking a full-time position for a Scheduler/Floater to work in the Monroe office and provide back up support to the West Monroe office. Monday through Friday: 8 am - 5 pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Schedule clinic appointments and procedures.
• Accurately enter and update patient demographics, insurance information, medications, and other required patient information.
• Scan completed documents received during clinic visit.
• Follow up on incomplete patient information.
• Follow up on outboard referrals.
• Send recall reminder.
• Provide support to front desk checkin or checkout when needed (Monroe/West Monroe)
• Provide support to clinical staff to maintain efficient patient flow when needed (Monroe/West Monroe)

• Maintain a polite, clear, and positive tone during all client interactions.
